This collaboration between Rywire and Downstar Skate came to fruition based on Frank and Ryan's connection with the TV show Seinfeld. In the later seasons of Seinfeld this 1990 (Y-49 yellow) CRX can be seen as the "outside Jerry's apartment" view countless times. Frank and Ryan's inside jokes became more and more Seinfeld focused, and it was only right that their first collab drop be themed accordingly. The fuzzy blur of this image takes us back to the 90's when tube TV's and rabbit ears were more common. Seinfeld is known to drop car cameos, and seeing the newest of the day 911, NSX, or CRX was a common sighting. This skate graphic will be more focused to the "if you know, you know" crowd, and the slightly older (more civilized) generation.
