Part of this process is a DPFI to MPFI swap. Dual point fuel injection cars run on 2 fuel injectors while multi point fuel injection cars run on 4 fuel injectors. The rest of this swap is an OBD0 to OBD1 conversion with VTEC subharness and 4-wire O2 sensor.
A d16z6, d15b, HF or Si Harness can not be used on a DX or STD Chassis.
What you will get:
You will send us your DX engine harness, and the d16z6/d15b engine harness and we will send you back your DX harness modified for your d16z6/d15b with ECU Jumper and directions for installation.
Shipping Charges:
You pay shipping to us, and select your ideal return shipping method upon checkout.
What to expect:
We will de-pin plugs where possible, and solder/heatshrink where we cannot de-pin. You will have to follow some easy instructions for further modification at the ECU. There are a few wires that need to be pinned into the ECU plugs, unless you select the Plug and Play Option where all the ECU pinning is done for you on the OBD0 to OBD1 ECU Jumper.
If you choose to use OBD0 Injectors you will need an injector resistor box.
If you do not have one, you may add it to your order below.
What we need from you:
- Un-modified DX/STD Engine Harness
AND
- Complete d16z6/d15b engine harness.
If you do not have an d16z6/d15b Engine Harness contact Rywire by phone or email.
The Plug and Play Option:
When converting from OBD0 DPFI to OBD1 MPFI we can eliminate
re-pinning at the ECU by wiring another subharness into the ECU
Jumper. The disadvantage to this is that if you use an OBD0 ECU,
you will be lacking all the new MPFI wiring at the OBD0 ECU Plugs.
If you never intend to downgrade to OBD0 again, we highly recommend the plug and play option.
